   Kick Back Day

The day begins with a parade at 10:00 a.m. with food, folks, and fun the entire day at the City Park.  Kick-Back-Day is an event that was created to generate funds for the City Park to make improvements to the park.  The event begins immediately following the parade and continues till 3:00 p.m.  There are numerous food booths, fun booths, free give-a-ways during the day and entertainment throughout the day.  Water Polo ends the festivities at the park provided by the White Deer Fire Department.

   Rodeo

The White Deer Riding Club holds its Rodeo on the last Friday and Saturday in July every year.  On Friday night a free Bar-B-Que meal is served to every ticket holder to the rodeo.  The Rodeo is two action packed evenings of excitement and entertainment for the entire family.  There are two concession stands and an outdoor dance under the stars after each nights performance.  The Lion's Club has breakfast burritos to purchase during the evening event.

   Parade

The Parade is on Saturday, July 31st at 10:00 a.m. We encourage everyone to come on out to the City Park and bring your lawn chair and spend the day at Kick-Back-Day immediately following the parade.

   Polish Sausage Dinner

The first Sunday in November the Sacred Heart Catholic Church has it's annual Polish Sausage Dinner.  The dinner takes place in the Parish Hall located on the corner of 3rd and Paul Streets.  The dine in "All-You-Can-Eat-Menu" consists of Polish Sausage, cole slaw, potato salad, brown beans, pickles, onions, apricot sauce, bread and tea all made fresh by the parish members.  Serving usually begins around 10:30 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m. Bulk sausage and other items as well as take out dinners are also available.  A country store with homemade goodies is also provided.  The church serves around 2000 people at this annual event.

  A.T.O. Sorority Craft Show

Alpha Theta Omega Sorority hosts a craft show Saturday and Sunday at the Community Center located on the corner of 5th and Paul Streets the first weekend in November.  The Polish Sausage Dinner is always the same weekend.  The craft show and sausage dinner are two blocks away from each other on Paul Street so that makes it convenient to get from one event to the next.  Come spend a day in November with us here in White Deer and enjoy Polish sausage and the Craft show.
