Items:
The City of White Deer has a Landfill. Please utilize the
Landfill for large items.
Alley Maintenance:
The mowing of weeds and grass in the alleys is the responsibility of
residents. The City has an ordinance against
digging in the alleys. The dumpsters are emptied on Monday & Tuesday
of each week. Please bag every-thing you put in the dumpster.

Payment Drop

For your convenience, there is a
Payment Drop Box located in Front of the City
Office.
The
City of White Deer owns the water, gas & sewer systems.
Deposits:
When you move into White Deer, whether renting or
purchasing your home, you will be required to put up a deposit
for your gas and water meters.
Water is $40.00 and Gas is $100.00 totaling $140.00.
Your utility meters are read around the 11th – 15th of each
month and the utility statements are mailed on the 1st of each
month. They are due by the 15th. A LATE PENALTY of $15.00 is
added and then utilities are DISCONNECTED if a timely payment
is not made. The RECONNECT FEE is $10.00 per meter. Failure to
receive your bill does not avoid payment.
You are responsible for the water, gas and sewer lines from
your house to the main in the alley. It is your responsibility
to periodically check these lines for leakage & corrosion.

A recycling center is at the corner of Horseburgh and Horn
Streets.
